A lot of UK Poo

Here is a report I did on the amount of poo disposed of everyday in the UK, as a result of our using disposable nappies for our babies.

I know we are modern and busy people, but if we don't care for our environment, our children or grandchildren might not have a planet to live in!

Let me know what you think, especially parents or parents to be.

Toyin Agbetu - Westminster Abbey

On 27th March 2007, one African was bold enough to defend the memory of our ancestors during a service at Westminster abbey. I was fortunate to interview Toyin last week.

You could help remind people of the injustice done to African people by voting this video onto Current TV which is available both here and in the US (a potential audience 0f 50 million).

I also welcome any comments you have on this video.

PS: I'm still looking for people to help make a response to this 419 issue of the media picking on Nigerians.

I Left my job!

6 weeks ago I resigned from my job as a computer analyst in the IT department of a top city law firm. I had wanted to do this for sometime, as I really wanted to go into business for myself and be the master of my own faith, but as usual when you have been used to a guaranteed salary at the end of the month, you have bills to pay, it can be difficult to give up that security.

So prompted by a major change at my work place, I decided to take the step, and Friday 13th April was my last day at work. I do have things lined up that I'm working on, a source of some guaranteed income, but nothing that currently matches my last places salary. I will however be doing something that I have a passion for, have a potential to make more money as the venture grows, and the rewards I get with be proportional to the efforts I put in.

I'm not going to lie and say I'm not apprehensive of what the future holds, but I'm going to give it a good shot, and believe that what God has in stock for me is better than what I had while employed.

My family will always be a reason to spur me on.

419 Video

I posted the following on the Nigeria Village Square forum, but haven't had any response, so if there are any Londoners interested, get in contact.

The following video is showing on Current TV, and I'm feed up of the media
picking on Nigeria as if it is the only place where scams come from, what
about the east european credit card scams!

http://uk.current.com/pods/issue/PD03620

I would like to make a video in response, and am looking for Nigerians in
London who would like to air their views. I remember a thread on this site a
few months ago discussing this same issue.

If you are interested, please contact me sholao[at]meet-britain.org.uk.

Many people fall victims of so called Nigerian scams because they are either
greedy, crooks themselves or plain stupid.

American tribute to Nollywood

For once in a long time, the American media finds something good coming out of Nigeria.

I also produce videos for Current TV, so if anyone in London or the South East of England has any issue they would like to air their views about, contact me, and lets see if we can get more good news about our country out there.
